Master mission mechanic rework - 10/10 change

There’s a better way. One T16 takes one red Alva, 3 T5s take 3 yellow Alvas. Once you’re running T16s and other red maps, where are you getting those yellow Alvas from? Nowhere.

So what you do instead is far superior: you run two T16s with red Alva on them... and then you cheese Quarry. Go to Quarry, loop around the middle. See Alva? Run her. No Alva? Create a new instance, rinse and repeat.

The math works out as follows. You need an average level of 73 Alva zones (one of which must be 83). So that’s 73 x 12 (no. of incursions to build a temple). That’s 876 “zone levels”, so to speak. 6x83 (from 2x T16 Alva) is 498. 876 - 498 = 378. You have 6 Alvas left. 378 / 6 = 63, which is exactly the level Quarry is.

So, for the mere cost of 2 red Alvas on T16s (the former of which you’re getting anyway and the latter of which you want to be running for your Uber Elders anyway), you get a level 83 Alva temple (which drop T16s...).

I haven’t tested this yet, but I don’t think T16 sustain will be an issue for me this league.
