Match Thread: 4th Test - India v England, Day 2

Mate it's not just India. The whole subcontinent basically has similar conditions. If anything India has more seamer friendly tracks in a few places like kolkata and dharamshala. And they are regular test venues. Mumbai and the pitch today in motera are also tracks which will help good fast bowlers as they are made of red soil. If you mean to just downplay or disregard any single match win here remember that uae, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and now pakistan all have similar conditions and are test playing venues. By disregarding India as a test venue remember you are disregarding nearly half of all the test playing nations. As far as foreign conditions are concerned the same problem Is faced by subcontinental players when they go out. New Zealand conditions are also way different than any other nation due to which winning there has been such a pain in the arse these days. Australian bounce is nothing like any other place even that's foreign condition. Why do you think defeating Australia in Australia has been so difficult that only the no.1 test sides have managed to do that. Rest of the teams can't even seem to compete there. And if by rest of the countries you mean 4 SENA countries then my friend I am afraid you might be wrong here. Even Australian pitches like Adelaide offer nice spin if spin is what you were concerned about.
Also looking at recent past the only teams to win anything worth something away from home have been india and England. And England have done that against teams which aren't really going through a good phase.
