How long can Nevill and Paine go. Paine’s was injury prone for a while so he didn’t play a ton of cricket so doesn’t have wear and tear on his body. He only plays red ball cricket now as well. Australia’s year schedule for the next year or two isn’t packed. Only have two away tests Bangladesh, home summer, away tests vs South Africa and then home tests vs England (from what I have seen) and then the WTC final if Australia make it.

Nevill is 34. More then likely has two years in him and has done a good job of captaining NSW. Doesn’t play BBL. However, he did have a child last year and you wonder if that becomes more of a priority for him in the next year or two.
