Matchmaking in a nutshell

7 years ago I reached leaderboards (before immortal, top 200 Americas) in like 400 games, primarily playing Meepo, Tinker, and jumgle Chen if not mid

You know it is possible for people to not be bad? I also reached Global Elite in CSGO in 128 wins. Diamond SC2 in like 50, but stopped cause solo games are just not the casual fun I like and very stressful.

99.99% of players don't: watch replays and honestly point out their mistakes, rebind keys and try new things (e.g. camera drag with middle mouse is objectively best by a gigantic margin, yet 95% of players still edge pan...it took me 10 games to learn), use quickcast by default (again..10 awkward games where I miscasted a lot but infinitely better now, etc), etc. etc.

I know there are heralds with 10k games, but you guys have got to stop thinking every single player is a smurf and that no one can improve. There are 9 year old Chess Grandmasters. 99% of people never progress past 1k ELO.
