[Matt Law] Marina Granovskaia has not given up on Kepa Arrizabalaga - but he is running out of chances. There is a sense Marina force Kepa to be given a second chance before having to make a final decision on his future.

I'm not surprised this is the stance she is taking. I don't think she's the type of person to just let Kepa go and (publicaly) look like she's made a huge error in judgement in sanctioning the transfer. It's like with Ole and Maguire. Even if Maguire isn't playing 100%, Ole will never drop him because that's admitting that he made a huge mistake in pushing the club to buy Maguire (he was Ole's main cb target).

Marina did buy Mendy and that doesn't look good; but it could also be a move in hopes to get Kepa to work harder and perform better because of the competition. It was always the next step. The next will be to maybe try and find a suitable loan for him or just cut the losses and sell him. We will see what happens but I don't want to see a Chelsea player do badly. That includes Kepa.
