Don't buy into that. Don't beat yourself up with negative thinking like that. Social skills can be learned. Most of your favorite comedians were terrible starting out. But even comedy can be learned to an extent. And I want to add another thing that doesn't require talent. Learning social skills doesn't require talent, though it helps of course. Don't compare yourself with others. Your greatest opponent is yourself and you should just try to beat yourself and always try to become a better version of yourself each and everyday.

This will sound funny but live life like a Sims game. I find the Sims kind of inspiring. It can inspire you to work out and learn how to cook and be more cleanly and so on. People that kind of visual representation of their progress. Cooking Level: 5, Logic Level: 4, Cleaning Level: 3, etc. Comedians and actors learn to perfect their craft. And those same skills apply to real life, to be funny or learn how to hide hatred or embarrassment or whatever. It's very human.

You say you might be a bit down on your luck with women and that you wish you could be more like Craig Ferguson, that old furnace of ambition as Norm MacDonald once called him. Inspiring man. Writes, directs, acts, 20 years sober or however much, heart-felt and sincere.
