Mattis orders Pentagon to allow transgender troops to continue serving, pending study

Both. The post literally says is debatable, but if you've literally looked into the reasons why you can be disqualified from serving, this fits in perfectly. The only reason they would legally be allowed in is if they become a protected class. There is 100% medical justification in doing so. It literally comes down to what you define as transgender. Do you define people who identify as transgender as transgender, or do you define it as people who are undergoing HRT? The former is debatable, the latter is not.

If I have ever had plastic surgery, I am disqualified.

If I have ever been on a narcotic, I am disqualified.

If I've ever had braces, I'm disqualified (This can be exempted through a lot of legal bullshit)

If I've ever had any form of surgery, I'm disqualified. (Again, certain exceptions apply. Having genitals removed or Breasts removed doesn't apply/)

If I've ever had any form of mental illness, I'm disqualified

If I've ever been reliant on long term medication, I'm disqualified.

Now tell me how many of these apply to to transgender people.
