Matts Hummels and Roman Weidenfeller trying to calm the Dortmund fans after their loss to Augsburg.

I'll give you Rafael. Fletcher's gone isn't he?

You said players since Giggs retired. He has played for us since Giggs retired.

I was primarily talking about first team players as well - Wilson, Blackett, and McNair can't have had more than 20 appearances combined.

Wilso, McNair and Blackett are absolutely first team players now. They train with the first team every week all season. They have a combined 37 first team appearances this season

Carrick has been there for ages but you'd have trouble convincing me that he loves the club considering you never see him show any real passion.

As you say, passion on the pitch != love for the club. He has been with the club for nearly 10 years now and won loads of trophies. He's a senior figure and has talked about wanting to retire here. Of course he loves the club.

I also forgot to add Valencia to that list, who turned down Madrid for us.

And both of those times were perfectly coincided with new contract discussions.

First time, the whole thing came about BECAUSE of contract discussions. Rooney said he didn't want to renew because of the direction the club was going. The second time it was a year before contract negotiations, before fergie announced his retirement. As soon as Fergie left all talk of Rooney leaving ended. He was being benched constantly and played in midfield. Of course he was going to be unhappy, it had fuck all to do with contracts. It was basically Rooneys word vs Fergies, and he didn't officially request a transfer.

Falcao, Di Maria, Van Persie look like they couldn't give less of a shit and United is just a means to an end for them.

Fairly assumptious. I don't think you'll find many players who join a club and are faithfully "in love with it" after playing for 1-2 years.

Seems like you're just trying to find a reason to shit on United IMO
