May 27 Daily Thread

Bucked and moved some firewood then shoveled 6 cubic yards of dirt on Friday, graded out the yard in front of the house Saturday, split some firewood on Sunday. Slept about 6 1/2 hours then front squats today. 255 for 4, 5 sets of 2. Interestingly, second rep of every double moved slow but almost exactly the same every time. Never felt like I was going to miss the rep or lose the bar, just moved super slow.

Deadlifts after that, 355 for 4, 4 sets of 2. Owie. Pulled all but the last set mix grip for a goof. Deadlifts feel awful all the time but exceptionally bad when my upper back is already toast.

Finished with 3x10 ab wheel super-set with 3x10 Platz Hatfield squats.

Just had breakfast. Gonna drink some coffee, watch some youtube videos then go stack some firewood, porbly around 3/4 cord, maybe a full cord. Maybe split some more wood, maybe go buck and move some more. Who knows. It's a holiday so I can't go do any real (paying) work lol. Nice fat steak for dinner later, mmm.
