I know what you're saying. You're saying if you didn't get the help you needed, when you needed it, you would have ended your life. Is that right?

I also get how it comes across. It reminds me a bit of the 'I'd rather be murdered than raped' comments I've heard before. Yeah, it doesn't really help to hear that even you're a victim already.

But you're not saying that. You're talking from personal experience and I respect that. I'm glad you got the help when you needed it, and I'm glad you're still getting treatment for your EDS. I respect what both of you were saying. There's no need to apologise but I think it was good that you cleared things up for everyone.
