It may be lame, but I wanted it. So I did it.

I see. Well when you do get to law school and you get out 3 years later, I think you’ll realize that you want to keep your money that you’ve earned by putting in the effort to get to where you are. I’ve gone through too many sleepless nights to count, and too many mornings starting at 4 am, to get to the position that I’m in. Many people coast by with parties on the weekends and a couple hours of homework a night. I didn’t party, I didn’t do anything but study and work during the semesters. And on top of that average 5 hours of sleep a night, less during test weeks. I’m not putting down people who would rather enjoy their college experience to the fullest, or people who don’t go to college and prefer to stay in less skilled positions. It’s totally fine to coast by in life, but it’s not okay to think that my salary should match that of someone who doesn’t make the sacrifices that I do.
