Maybe this 2 game thing has a chance.

The thing I worry about is that a LOT of people would be OKAY with survival being even more annoying to play than it is now under the excuse that it would be a "better survival game" and I think they will be wrong.

There are some things I am OKAY with and some that I think I will hate or the entire community will hate. For me the addition of bee boxes was cool and the addition of wortk benches was annoying. It makes sense that you should need a work bench for some things but those work benches also didn't add anything "cool" with them. It was just a requirement tacked on to some recipes that we already had.

For example if you needed to gather the parts of the work bench and not just scrap metal/wood and you need that workbench plus a blacksmithing hammer plus the welding mask plus the eye protection and the blacksmith's boots plus a factory building running for 24 hours and the book to learn/build bases then I have a problem with that.

The building in h1z1 survival is a lot less grindy than other games and I hope it stays that way also just hope surviving in general stays a lot less grindy than other games.

The bee boxes added a few new craftable items to the game that was also cool/fun to have. The sleeping mat gave you a BONUS to your speed for a while which is a cool trade off. Like yes you need the sleeping mat or a bed but when you find one you get something out of it.

I don't want to be in a situation where playing the game is just annoying like imagine all surivival players start at 70% run speed of BR players and to get to 100% run speed you need sugar+water or something weird and you get 2 hours at 100% run speed that goes back to 70. That's not fun and it isn't adding anything like a bonus it's just making survival more annoying to play.

IMO making zombies harder isn't adding anything cool to the game either which is something a lot of people on this sub want for some reason. I would be ok with that as long as we have something cool added too like every once in a while you find a Loot pinata zombie that maybe has a super unique appearance/encounter sound or are built to be something like the treasure goblins from diablo style games.

Also these harder zombies just give more incentive for people to 308 from the safety of their bases which needs a fix. Tell you what, you kill anyone from your "claimed/unbuildable" area that your base or buildings have occupied and there is no loot bag that drops for you from players killed from you standing in that claimed area. People are still going to kill on sight from their base for fun but at least part of that incentive is gone.
