Well thankfully most visible asteroids and comets can be easily predicted and come at regular intervals

Meteors are not asteroids. Meteors are small and tiny. Meteors are infact stars.

And why are you looking at craters to see asteroids?

I looked at the moon on my telescope all night and not a single asteroid whizzed past or hit the face of the moon. How do you observe asteroids in your daily life apart from google?

Your analolgy of a craft going through the asteroid belt is pretty stupid as the moon is a bit bigger then a spacecraft.

If they're so far apart it makes it really unlikely that they smash into each other all the time in their asteroid belt, which makes it very unlikely that asteroids themselves should have craters, but lo and behold they drew craters on the asteroids to make them appear moon like.
