Maybe it’s better to get the virus now rather than 1 month later

A friend of mine was infected and now recovered, thinking about him for a moment I thought, how good for him now, he doesn't have to worry about getting infected, he can go around and conduct deliveries without being scared.

But it was only a moment. It's 'nice' now, looking back, but at the start there was no way to know if his case was going to turn more serious. Even with his 'not ICU serious' case, he's spent 18 days in hospital! Worse than that was the constant worry that he'd infected his family, especially his elderly parents.

So, for the people who've recovered, there's a relief that they've passed this ordeal (hopefully without further health complications). For us who haven't, that relief might sound tempting, but there's no way to tell if we're going to be one of the unfortunate ones. Nor really, anyway to tell who you might spread it to, and can you really live with that?
