Mayor Frey reacts to Rep. Omar's narrow primary win

Again, you are missing the point. It was the poster to who I was replying thay was questioning Omar's position, quarterback criticism as you say. And I disputed their assertion about progressive positions. You should be harangue them. My position from the beginning always aligned with Omar's on this issue. Yes, leftists and progressives are often non interventionist on these sorts of conflicts. Because we are skeptical of motivations, where the money ends up, and if these interventions actually promote or spread liberal democracy. We have seen the end results of US intervention. I cannot think of a positive outcome any time in the last 70 years. I would love to be proved wrong. Just because some progressives and leftists did vote along party lines does not mean it is their default position, there are multiple factors in play as far as how representatives vote. Personally, I do not think our interventions decrease the number of civilain deaths throughout the world. We probably have a bigger body count in war and military conflict of any country in recent history.
