MBA during gap year?

I think it depends on your definition of value. But, I don’t think it will help your application. Moreover, an accelerated MBA is mostly used as a box check for a professional already established in their career, who is looking to climb the ladder. The advantage of MBA’s are that they are great for team building, internship opportunities and networking- an accelerated MBA takes away virtually all of these aspects.

Lastly, and I please take this with a grain of salt because a lot of people are successful from every school, but going to maximize the return from your MBA, the Top 15 MBA programs provide by far the best opportunities.

If you’re sceptical about your chances of getting into med school, I’d recommend getting work experience (ideally 2-5 years for the top programs)and try to move up as high as you can. Then look into applying to the best MBA programs and get involved in healthcare in some other manner.
