MBA MiM dilemma for a Computer Science Graduate

MiM then MBA:

Most MiMs are 2 yrs or longer and adding another 5-6 yrs of experience makes that 8 yrs, which is almost twice the avg experience of incoming classes of most US MBAs. It doesn't mean that it's a bad choice, it's just that this route will take much longer to reach the same level of the job you'd be taking after your MBA

MBA right out of UG:

This is an option taken up by many top students in India and is a very good one at that. Indian MBAs like IIMs, XLRI, FMS are all top programs which could lead to solid jobs.

The only thing you should keep in mind is that you'd be competing with students from IITs/BITS/SRCC for internships and jobs, and having good work experience before starting your Indian MBA would make up for that difference

My advice:

I agree with your dad that MiMs aren't the best degrees and getting an MBA right out of undergr
