This just goes to show you that it's not about ideas, platform or policy, Republicans don't really care that more voters than expected found their extreme and anachronistic views unappealing, that more voters than expected repudiated Trump, MAGA, Christian Nationalism, election denying.

The Republican party isn't coming around, even conservatives right now who are turning on Trump and fanaticism don't really find these things unappealing, they're just upset that enough voters did. They still voted for these candidates, and if they had won, if it had truly been a "red wave", they'd be singing the same old tune, nothing would have changed for them.
