And gravity is in the eye of the beholder. A lot of working people want government to be broken, because government has done nothing but eff them over. I kind of think of the average working person as something akin to a libertarian socialist - the left doesn't get the libertarian part, the right doesn't get the socialist part.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying the parties are equivalent, and I was all for the blue wave. I just have little optimism that when the Dems take power, they'll get it right. I hope I'm wrong.
