McConnell’s defense of the filibuster is pure hypocrisy

This article doesn't even mention the fact that Democrats are the ones who scrapped the filibuster for judge appointments and McConnell just extended that to the SC...

I'm no fan of Republicans or McConnell...but that's pertinent information.

The EXACT same thing is going to happen again if the Democrats scrap the filibuster for this procedural voting bill. Republicans will take that and extend it to something way more impactful. Or just use it to scrap the filibuster altogether.

I don't understand the logic at all - everyone inherently understands how much disproportionate power the Senate gives Republicans, why are we clamoring to end the Senate rules that hold back the Senate from rubber stamping any bad idea Republicans come up with in the future?
