I guess I’d contend that Bienemy’s resume should’ve at least afforded him the opportunity to get a job at some point in the past few years. Unless the interviews or something we don’t see was bad enough to completely disqualify him, which we’ll probably never know the truth of.

Plenty of assistants to great head coaches have gotten jobs, to varying levels of success. Hell, even this coaching cycle, Philly hired a Reich disciple. The playcalling/responsibilities in KC have been disputed, but what we know for sure is that Bienemy has been working closely with Reid to craft & sustain one of the best offenses the league has seen.

The league is about offense, and I just don’t get how he hasn’t been given the chance to be a HC yet.
