Me (17F) with a customer (30s-40sM) I apparently gave him the wrong idea

hi dad, am back.

went to a food fair today as well with Chong after jogging. There was so much food! and i get really, really happy around food, and energetic. So i was just running around, peeking at all the food stalls, and weaving through crowds, and Chong was behind me the entire time, just keeping up, and waiting for me while i would go up and talk to the food sellers.

Somewhere i lost $10 in coupons :( i don't know what i did with them. I really don't know. I was at the samosa stand, and maybe i gave away my entire booklet instead of the correct amount of $2 for 3 samosas. Sigh.

Chong gave me $10 of his coupons to use instead. He must really like me hey? i was going to pay him back but didn't have the right amount of change and he didn't seem too fussed. So okay.

He didn't eat much. He said his friends were having a steamboat so he was going to join them. I asked him what time that was, and he said 8pm. I was like 'that's late!' and he reassured me that it was ok to join them during it. Oh. So then he must like me then, i am thinking. He's been really considerate to me today.

We ended up just spending the rest at the easiest store we could find so that we could leave.

The satay stand looked really good, but the queue was huge, and he kept bringing up that the queue was very long, so i asked him if it mattered to him, but he said no, but i guess that was yes (i guess i am getting better at reading people?), so i decided to skip the satay (for my mum), and get something easier without any queue. He even suggested that we skip to the front of the queue for the chicken curry puffs, so i am guessing he's not very inclined towards fair play. It's something i realise that asians, especially the china bred ones, tend to do. But then, that's only because the ones who didn't, of course, didn't live, or didn't have as good a chance of surviving. Normally, i'd queue, but this time since we were rushing, we went to the front to check things out, and it was a good thing we did, because it looked like the curry puffs had all sold out, so we ended up getting kimchi pancakes instead.
