Me [22 F] with guy [23 M] realized he doesn't seem to have much depth, or is it me?

You are very polite to my blunt responses and I appreciate that. Yes you may need to find someone more actively involved in helping others. Although, not to sound judgy, but my bf also only works a few days a week, in a job that doesn't require a lot of intellect and is the opposite of me, but in more recent times I have found interesting ways to involve him with my line of work that he's quite excited about. Sometimes the mismatched intellect/passion thing can work but sometimes it doesn't. My bf was always a great listener to me talking about my work, even though he is quiet and didn't provide much in terms of feedback. Sometimes when I talk aloud I solve problems that way, so his silent listening with some flat response or question helped quite a bit. Im not sure if you have that going on with your bf or not though. I used to feel discouraged by his lack of response, lack of passion towards pretty much anything, and other reasons, but I don't know, I have found value in his personality and the yin and yang of our relationship.
