Me [24F] with my boyfriend [30M] for 1 year, he became "aggressive" during an argument but apologized later on. Is it ok to forgive and move on?

I think you are being overly sensitive. You guys were fighting and then he grabbed your arm and moved you out of his way? Is that it?

"I was kind of confused by it because I've been taught a man should never put his hands on me in anger under any circumstance. I tried to push it out of my mind and ended up falling asleep on the couch."

By your logic if you are talking with your BF, want him to move and push him out of the way then you are abusive.

Maybe, I'm just from a different country, but the comments here and reactions make the US younger generation sound like such a snowflakes. I wouldn't date anyone from this generation if this constitutes as violent behavior.
