Me and my girlfriend are both studying abroad, could use some support

I can’t say I’ve been in the same situation as you, but I, just like many here, have been in a long distance relationship. Mine has been for about a year now. It’s hard, I won’t lie, but if you both love each other there will always be time for one another. You guys might be busy in your respective countries doing school work or meeting new people, but so long as you two are committed to each other it’ll work out. My suggestion is to tell her about your nerves and what you’re worried about and just ask your partner for reassurance. Sometimes i think silly things like “what if he finds someone better than me and falls in love with her because she’s closer than I am”. If something like that stays on my mind for more than a day or two and I’m stressed I just say it outright and he ends up calling me stupid (jokingly) because he loves me and me only. Relationships (distance relationships especially), are all about communication. Tell her you’re going to have a hard time with this and you’d like to be able to FaceTime or Skype whenever each of you are free. Tell her you’re going to struggle with missing her a lot, and you really would like to be able to text or snapchat etc as much as she and you are able to! When you’re both studying abroad, send each other pictures and tell each other about your day and your experiences and maybe buy a thing or two for your partner and tell them about giving it to them when you’re both home! Good luck and stay positive :) !
