Me, next week, when the judges will probably criticize Rock's makeup

I agree, but it's also for the queens to show Michelle up. Like, milk didn't go home for "being lost in glamour," she went home for not being completely pulled together. Likewise, when Sharon did her glam devil look, Michelle pointed out how fun and nice it was to see Sharon do spooky glamour without resorting to her trademarks. Then again praised her for her ingenious takes on the ball episode. She also enjoyed seeing jinkx improving from what she considered "pedestrian/messy" to her stand up and mexican looks.

Michelle's whole thing is that she's "been there, done it, had the silicone removed." She wants to be shocked. But if you come out in a "brand" repeatedly, she's not interested because she doesn't see it as being authentic. Sometimes, I disagree with her, like I agreed with Nicky that Brita's rap DID say something about who she was, but overall I think she's consistent in her pov and I like that about her. Is it fair for her to do it in episode 1? It depends, I guess. Dusty came out in a challenge about thrift shop glamour with a make up that didn't relate to what she was wearing. Then said it's her "trademark." I felt that was fair of Michelle to critique. Crystal showed three different looks and each clearly was inspired by a character. Michelle did say how good she was, but also that she wants to see Crystal do something different. If anything, it gives crystal an excellent storyline to push forward and separate herself from the rest. In fact, they all got given good storylines for defining themselves going forward. If crystal capitalises on her "I'm not just a clown character" early enough, she can probably continue for a lot longer because it gives her more opportunities to show different things.
