Give me some examples of bad planning you’ve witnessed.

I quit this miserable job a year ago but still peruse this sub sometimes...

Had a traffic paint guy call and demand we order and ship 100 gallons of green hotline to him by the next day. I didn’t even know they made green hotline. I told him I’d need more of a heads up than that. He asked for the manager, I told him I was the assistant and the manager is out on vacation for the week. He said “so if there’s a problem and the managers not there you just don’t do shit about it?” And I said “dude you’re needing 100 gallons of shit we don’t keep in stock by tomorrow, how do you sincerely expect me to make this happen?” He cussed me up a storm and hung up.
