Measure EE tax hike for LAUSD fails

We're approaching service delivery insolevancy in many units of local government in California. Rising pension and legacy costs (especially police and fire) are crowding out public funds. Even the LAUSD experiences this with school officers.

I think Californians are getting tax fatigue. Measure after measure is approved, but the core issues of pension costs are not addressed. As such, the new funding approved loses momentum and citizens see lackluster results.

This is compounded by the housing shortage that's driving up cost of living. How can we expect people already extended financially paying ridiculous rents to add to their COL by way of more taxes?
