The Media Botched the Covington Catholic Story. And the damage to their credibility will be lasting.

I don't understand the uproar about "what's been done to these kids." Major news outlets "cleared" up the story within a day or two--and the new narrative is larger in scope than the original one.

I get that there have been death threats, and that is horrible. It is a part of being involved in a spectacle sometimes, sadly--even just wearing a MAGA hat in some places.

There is more to the story than what the new narrative: the racist nature of the tomahawk chop, for example, that is inexcusable--even for people that age. And WTF is up with the following link with video? Covington Catholic Teen on ‘Fox & Friends’: Blackface Is ‘School Spirit’. Even so, I don't care to delve any deeper, as I'm sick of the back and forth on this story.
