Deklyn hadn't been participating in the matches, but she had certainly been watching them. She may even have become their biggest fan, as she had a whole book full of notes on them now... She was a visual learner after all.

That being said, she was well aware of Cassie's last name and knowing Brandon and his tendency to think himself into a coma... He was well aware of it too. So, learning that Cassie was awake and though she didn't know the new girl too well, Dek decided she'd better check on her, offer her sunshine and rainbow filled friendship and, well, ask if she needed anything.
