Dress code is very important! If you're a girl, don't wear something too tight and revealing because they will think "If she considers this polite, she must be half naked in public". They don't have to see how curvy you are, it's really just common logic. Something in the middle ground is okay. If you're a dude (gay), it complicates the things a bit. If they are judging people, you cannot change their opinions in one meeting. If they are accepting of you, please, don't look like a weirdo- no makeup, nails or whatever stuff is modern nowdays (don't judge me please, but I don't consider this normal)- look like a gentleman. It doesn't have to be a suit, something casual is okay. I wish you both luck!
