[Mega Monday] December 21 - Our Weekly Post for Check-Ins, Questions & Motivation

I used to lift (without SC) before COVID and had made some gains. I sort of lost them during the lockdown.
I decided to "get back in shape" and try SC for the first time. I chose to do the Gluteus Goddess since I sort of already have experience lifting weights. It's my third week in and my butt actually shrank?? I even noticed more cellulite than when I started, but the butt is flatter? I'm eating at maintenance when I don't lift, and at a slight surplus when I do. I didn't want to go crazy on the surplus because I have belly fat and assumed I could still be a candidate for "body re-composition". Am I wrong? I'm making sure I up the weights and/or reps when the exercises feel easier.

Also, I noticed that I didn't feel sore at all after an intense workout C (heavy hip thrusts) last Sunday. I don't even get that post-workout muscle pump anymore.
