Republicans have no good answer to why they would not want an FBI investigation(just as was done with Anita Hill) that would only help to exonerate Kavanaugh if he were innocent, and the women who've accused him wouldn't be calling for such an investigation if they were fabricating.

The truth is, Republicans are terrified of what an investigation might uncover.
