[MEGATHREAD] BTS - ‘'PERMISSION TO DANCE’'

this feels like a safe space here for confused armys lol. bc its actually weird. army twt is just mostly made up of toxic 2020 armys that dare i say only stan them for their popularity. and if all that matters to your fans is awards, achievements and chart positions they sure is no need to focus on the music itself.

i think the boys had huge hopes for mots7 era. on and black swan sounded like something the grammys would have loved lyrically and musically, but since its in korean..

i just cant tell what they are aiming for now exactly. cause the grammys, while they are rigged and losing relevance, still care about the artisty and identity of a musical act. their english releases are simply not bts. the grammys arent dumb either.

one last thing i can think of, from a korean perspective, is the military exemption. bighit is trying to squeeze in as many (global/american) records and awards as possible so that the korean government considers an exemption. cause it would be a big deal to have all members gone from the public eye for 1 1/2 years. k-armys are really loud about it too. on every youtube video or article the top comments always include people demanding military exemption. im aware bts are always ready to go, but that might not be in bighits interest.

just trying to make sense of.. this.. lol
