Honestly, it's years of holding on to hope that once the democrats get back in power things will change, and yet they only seem to in the most superficial ways. When the republicans get into power they get everything they want at rocket speed and they are allowed to run every branch of government until they fuck up massively and then everyone votes for option B. After all this time I'm thinking the democrats are just throwing the fight. Why did they have this trial without having the DOJ involved from the beginning? Why haven't they arrested Trump? They have more than enough evidence. The truth is they aren't even trying. They'll just keep insider trading and watching their bank accounts grow while the predatory practices of the corporate oligarchs slowly enslave us.
