I understand that people disagree, and I'm sorry for coming off as condescending. It's just when simple facts like climate change, and yes, a scientific fact, aren't taken seriously by the people in charge, it's hard for me to see any debate as to who is right or wrong. Like how Trump has constantly been pushing for coal, something which has mountains of scientific evidence showing just how much of a fucking catastrophe it all is, and his plans on revitalizing the coal industry. It's not being elitist or condescending to be mad about it. It's using facts to form arguments. Don't be one of those people in the crowd shouting "ya darn city slickers with yer fancy scientific education!" This isn't about anything like that, it's not a contest for proving intelligence, it's about securing a habitable enough environment for our kids and grandkids and great grandkids to live in.
