We’re you there during this? I was. Digg initially handled it poorly, but made amends quickly and in spades. Digg was the original Reddit and was everything you love of Reddit and more - if the founders hadn’t exited so quickly, things could have ended very differently.

Let me preface that with the fact that through the years since, Reddit has proven itself to be incredibly impartial when they could have gone in a very different direction.

It’s hard to know what would have become of Digg had they stayed with their founders and not sold out, but in the end Reddit has proven itself to be mostly worthy of Digg’s founding and I am great full for that.
