Megathread: Michael Cohen claims Trump knew in advance of 2016 Trump Tower meeting

This 100%. We can all be as active, loud, concerned, and boisterous as our individual circumstances allow, but as long as there's food on the shelves and power flowing through the electrical grid, you aren't going to be seeing millions of angry Americans in the streets.

We've never had to do it before, it doesn't seem real to a huge percentage of the populace, and as long as we're still fat & (relatively) happy, our revolution will be confined to social media & water coolers. I'm not saying there won't be, or shouldn't be, protests, but the kind of large-scale, regime-changing unrest seen in other countries will not happen here as long as we can still access free wi-fi while eating our Big Macs.

This is completely unacceptable and needs to end yesterday, but I just don't know if we have the fortitude to clog up the works to that extent just yet.
