Megathread Monday! Mon Apr 27 . It's Q&A time in our weekly thread! There are *no stupid questions* - Any question at all answered here! (IDEAL place to start if you're new here)

Not a question so much as a really quick tip for Premiere that I recently found. This might have already been common sense for a number of people but I still see plenty of editors using the standard timeline scrub with the mouse so this may still help speed up people's process.

If you go into Keyboard Shortcuts and bind 'Move Playhead to Cursor' to a key that is nearby a finger tip that you consistently keep on your keyboard - you are now able to have the playhead immediately jump to that cursor point anywhere on the timeline, instead of having to always scrub within the Time Ruler. Binding this to a macro button on a mouse allows you to essentially click anywhere in the timeline to move the playhead there.

Maybe already obvious to some, idk. Most people here are already aware of the benefits of doing most of the editing input from the keyboard but like me, I think some still use a hybrid of KBM or stylus. Regardless, I can't imagine how much time this really quick change has and will save me in the long run. Hope y'all are well this week. Cheers.
