Megathread: Qassim Soleimani, head of Iran’s elite Quds Force, killed in Baghdad by U.S. Airstrike Ordered by President Donald Trump

So I hate Trump, think this decision was extremely foolish.....

Now that we know we have this technology - theoretically speaking - If we were to now finish the job and eliminate the rest of the Iranian leadership / governmental figures from afar and just sit back... What would actually happen to the US?

I don't see Russia or China scrambling to aid a country left with a leadership vacuum. And I don't see any organized terror attacks stemming from this action as the people organizing most have been killed. Sure they will reorganize, but would this action not set back / severely crippled the terror organizations they have been directing / funding?

Seems like this option might be more realistic than most would want to believe. I think it really depends on Iran's next move on if their government survives to 2021. We know the people of Iran mostly hate the current government, their people would likely praise us if we accomplish this with little to no civilian deaths.
