The dramatic dumpster fire of all of this doesn’t remotely matter. The house will impeach Trump by all means necessary and available at all costs, yet all their effort will be blocked by the Republican senate. No Republican in their right mind would go against their party as it would eventually cost them their job in future elections so it has no chance of getting passed in the senate. And this whole mess will likely highlight failure and desperation in the Democratic Party as well as deepening the partisan trench in our country. Trump will surely get re-elected next year and this extremely troubling cycle will continue on and on for four more years.
