[MEGATHREAD] Unemployment megathread 3: Post your questions, concerns, and advice relating to the unemployment process in Oklahoma.

I was absolutely laid off due to Covid-19 making my job impossible to do. Thus my employer eliminated my position and the program won't reopen till March 2021. I qualify for CARES and UE.

I updated my info mid-June because I knew I was being furloughed on July 3. I got a determination letter. And I waited until my first UE official day to file. So last Sunday I get into the program to file my first claim and I don't have the option.

So I have a red messaage bar that says "You have a claim..file your weekly..."

Then the bars are all grayed out except the status bars.

On the old site, there is just no option on the menu to File a Weekly Claim like there is supposed to be.

(I was on UE last summer so it was only the old site then - I know how it works)

I did their UE chat - they said I needed to call because I would receive severance. Except I HAVE NOT GOTTEN ONE NOR DO I KNOW WHEN OR HOW MUCH. So (in the old system) you'd just register that as income with THAT WEEKS CLAIM. Just knowing I might get one won't block me making regular claims.

I called the phone center and I get hung up on by the system every time because "it is too busy"

I drove 35 miles to the local office at 9am - waited till 1pm before I got sick from the heat. At 1:48 they called me once and left no VM or appointment time or anything. I live in a rural area so people have to leave a VM for me to call them.

I sent an email explaining this to them - no response.

Should I drive to Tulsa tomorrow and wait in line?! I even have my old card. I just need to be able to file and something is blocking me.
