You sound like you regret your decision, I get it. I did pursue medicine because the path looks miserable and not worth it. If you were mislead into what the path would be, well I am sorry that happens. We ask young people to make very impactful decisions far sooner than they are ready too. It seems you are an example of that. I hope you find happiness in your choice, and I honestly hope you are succesful in advocating for a change of the system. As I have said over and over, I am not qualified to present any meaningful solutions, I only responded to the questions you asked me with my personal opinion. Maybe the starting pay band shouldn't be $100k to $1M maybe $200k to $600k is more reasonable- is the gist of what I was trying to suggest.
