[Meirov] Josh Allen didn't get to touch the ball in overtime.... just like Patrick Mahomes didn't get to touch the ball in overtime in 2019.

The problem is there is too much randomness in football. ONE possession shows extremely little skill from either side. Football already suffers from a lot of randomness by playing just one game at each stage. An entire game could hinge on a tipped pass that happens to fall to a defenders hands or the offense hands. Or the Chiefs super bowl win (potentially) hinged on one ref calling touchdown instead of out of bounds when the replay would have not overturned either scenario.

In OT, one possession shows nothing and only one team (realistically) has a chance of winning at that time. One could argue that whoever won that toss would have won the game, meaning it completely depended on the coin.

Bills have a great defense on the whole of the season, but being exhausted in OT having to stop a great offense in one full field drive is no small task.
