Had the preflight inspection been done properly too the could have had a longer life too but keep circling back to the shopping center. Because at this point we are assuming they had a perfectly clear field to land on had the shopping cemter not been there and roads, cars, houses, or any other thing to hit on the way down werent there. Flights "generally" happen in a pretty straight line thousands of feet above the ground, builds, roads, etc... With zero issues but if a component fails/ negligence was involved on any part of the aviaton process a plane could potentially fall out of the sky on anything (graphic yes but truthful). Ot just so happened this plan found the shopping center.
