why is this meme not more popular

If we're continuing along in Zizekian discussion of popular culture:

I think the Joker much like a horrific natural disaster or a massive economic collapse lays bare the contradictions of Capitalist society for all to see. Even if his actions against the people of Gotham are abhorrent his very existence spreads light on the reality of just how sick the city of Gotham is, how helpless and miserable the people in Gotham are, and how desperately the society must change if they are to survive and recover in the face of another unpredictable yet inevitable force like the Joker in the future.

The Joker is a manifestation of true chaos, unpredictable and uninfluenced by the capitalist ideology in the pursuit for profits and currency. The terror of the Joker forces the bourgeois to recognize that no matter how much money or police they possess they are never truly safe, and they cannot protect the system that sustains their wealth even if they themselves are hiding in some high security facility. Had the Batman not succeeded, the people of Gotham would eventually realize the extent of their capitalist oppressors' power, and they would be forced with a decision to either reactionary ideology (turning on one another in madness and barbarism), or to stand in solidarity with one another looking to defeat the Joker collectively while their old masters are helpless to reinstate their control. By infiltrating the elite crime ring, kidnapping the unbeatable lawyer Harvey Dent in the hospital, and then targeting specifically the illusive and untouchable Batman.(*1) Joker directly targets capitalist authority but his presence is not simply a nuisance to the bourgeois machine (which immediately replaces any individual targeted authority with a fresh new face of capitalism to exploit the masses). Without Batman to save them it would be only the workers alone to choose: socialism and liberation or barbarism and terror. Of course everything is ruined by the anonymous vigilante billionaire who saves the old order by spying on everyone at all times via digital devices (basically the NSA or FBI) and in an instant people go back to turning on one another "safely" while the rich laugh at them from above.

1: And to quickly discuss the nature of Batman, he is basically equivalent to the ultimate populist politician and philanthropists in our world and one who is still ultimately loyal to the elite. Batman is the one figure in Gotham that has the ability to keep things in order for capitalist exploitation (by overcoming any threats to the system far better than the police) while still maintaining the illusion of solidarity with the poor. Batman could theoretically be anyone, but of course no individual but the wealthiest in Gotham would have the power to undermine the authority of the state without persecution, so he just gives empty inspiration for the poor to continue hopelessly relying on the rich as though they have found self-determination in this vigilante, and the illusion will never be shattered because Batman does not appear as a bourgeois who ruthlessly exploits the labor of others. Batman is reason why we cannot blindly follow any individual with unclear motives and no accountability, and we must be critical of figures like Batmanor Kim Jong Il-Sung Trotsky, that damned traitor who would promise to defend us while we never realize self-emancipation or self determination.

TLDR: Joker is the master acceleration, fuck the GCPD, and Batman is an fascist scum who manipulates the working class into a false sense of security for the interests of the bourgeois pigs and their unstable capitalist society.
