Memo: Papadopoulos info triggered FBI's Russia investigation

1) The FBI calls the memo incomplete and wholly biased on its face.

2) The R's in the Congress would not allow the Democrats to release their own memo, ostensibly to "look it over", but really to allow the media coverage to conveniently forget that there ever was talk of a Democrat memo response. Then, they drop the issue without releasing anything, then spin the conversation to "Well, this is the only info we have, better go with it." That's how this appears and that move is right out of the political playbook, a play both parties utilize shamelessly.

3) The memo IS being used to try to end the Mueller investigation because the POTUS tweets about this memo and wanting the investigation to end ASAP. Many of his constituents have put two and two together as they try to kill the investigation in the court of public opinion (which might as well kill the investigation anyway because, even if Trump is found guilty, the Repubs have their out by calling the investigation either corrupt or borne of a poisoned vine).

In all, the Repubs in totality haven't called for the investigation to end, but they've said just enough to rile their base into calling for Mueller's head. If/when he produces results, this sentiment will carry through, killing the investigation's teeth.

So...don't act like those on the other side of the political fence don't see the writing on the wall. Frankly, to assume that they don't is insulting.
