Memories of the Alhambra (Episode 9 & 10)

I've got mixed feelings about the show. On one hand, the plot has a lot of promise since this is like the first live-action "Sword Art Online" (anime) type story where real-world people can die from playing a VR/AR MMO game. On the other hand, I feel that there are so many poorly done areas that it wasted the opportunity of a good material. I want so much to like this series because of the unique genre... but, anyway here are my gripes:

- lack of chemistry between the actress and actor. Their romance is very unbelievable

- insufficient game& technology mechanics building. How does the lens work? How did a AR game feel real? Just because you "see" a sword through your lens, wouldn't make it really solid. Certainly swinging a virtual sword wouldn't make you feel the impacts of sword fights when you hit against a virtual enemy. So is the lens somehow plugged into your brain's sensory to make it feel real? I think it's just plain lazy writing that the writers don't even establish the basic mechanics here.

- Is this a MMO or just a FPS? I find there is insufficient "world building". So much more could be done to showcase the beauty of AR. The cafe scenes always shine with interactions with NPCs like the pirates and Emma. The writers could have done more world-building like these, to make the "game" more believable and fun. I find it hard to imagine why anyone would want to play a game like this (other than it being a FPS instead of a MMO).

- Unexplained weird stuffs - like how his leg suddenly recovered in episode 10. He was limping one episode and then next episode he is walking fine???

I still like the show more than not. So I'm hoping at least the remaining episodes will address some of these gripes.
