I was injured back in 11’ and due to head injuries, I have problems with my memory. Small things like people’s names and specific words like hospital instead of building. I went to my primary care doctor or and let them know. They set me up with neurology. That doc ran some tests; blood, ct scan, mri and the TBI test you take when you redeploy. It’s a long pain, but after everything was verified from the injury, I started therapy. It’s almost like mental health, but instead of feelings you work on tricks to get your brain working. I’m still working with a specialist, but things have improved. It’s slow going and frustrating as hell. Keep at them and don’t let them blow you off. Good luck
