why do men always assume you want to date them

I'm a huge doomer but I'm pretty sure it's because most of them don't see women like human beings--just potential commodities/scores parsed solely by what other men have taught them to value, and they tend to maintain this mindset even when lonely (so they rarely contemplate only wanting to get with someone they're compatible with, just anyone, which likewise makes them far riskier to even give a chance). Many also whine on and on about being desperate--yet half the opportunists have a gf or wife...the goalpost always moves. "What there's a burger in front of me on a silver platter! What madman wouldn't eat it?", finding this rational.

Yeah I've found a few guys not like that, thank goodness, but it is a minority.
